Topics of the material include the Joseph Smith papyri, Abraham, the Pearl of Great Price, and many other topics related to Christianity and Mormon doctrine. Materials date from approximately 1926 to 2008.

Contains correspondence, research notes, drafts, articles, photocopies, and papers collected and written by Hugh Nibley for lectures and publications. Includes material on scriptural studies conducted by Nibley. Materials date from approximately 1911 to 2008, bulk from approximately 1950 to 2008.

Notecards on Adam, the origin of man, Old Testament prophets, the Council of the Fifty, the Pearl of Great Price, cosmology, etc.; also biographies and assorted biographical information.

Boxes containing 5 x 8" index cards for the years 1951-1970 and 3 x 5" index cards for the years 1961-1970.

Typescripts of pertinent newspaper articles (1824-1950), bibliographical information for LDS scriptures, rough drafts of volumes 1-4 of "Messages", unpublished pamphlets and books, audio reels and cassette tapes of Church-related people and events, filmstrips, typescripts and photocopies of "Messages" source material, correspondence, notes, unbound/uncut copies of volumes 5 and 6 of "Messages", pertinent student papers, etc.

Unbound drafts and draft sections of volumes 2-5 of Clark's compilation series "Messages of the First Presidency"; also photocopies and notes of research material, newspaper clippings, indexes, issues of the Ensign, Church officers' interview questions, copies of speeches, etc.

Contains documentation on John W. Welsh's miscellaneous chiasmus studies. Included in these documents are notes from other organizations (including universities and book dealers) about the usage of chiasms, articles published by organizations such as FARMS, and various notes taken by Robert F. Smith pertaining to topics surrounding the scriptures and their usage of chiasms. Materials dated 1809-2010.

Contains documentation on John W. Welch's other chiasmus studies. Included in these documents are the usages of chiasms in architecture, Mormon culture, WordPerfect documents, and Hamlet. It also includes such documents arguing against chiasms and the potential fallacies of the literary tool. Materials dated 1834-2010.
